Something different today. No bashing Trump, Vance, @openyourojos or all those who voted for Trump. Today is special as I can see something we have been working on for 3 years is paying off.
ONLY IN CANADA – EH?
Over the past while, many folks, with Trump wanting us to become part of the 51st state, his tariffs, and his disrespect for our leaders, have thought Canadians were kind, gentle, and silent. By and large, we Canadians mind our own business and don’t get all bent out of shape shooting people over politics. We do not let big money dictate to us. We put our heads down and go to work, which is what this story is about today.
OUR WORK
This story is about our work in a small, remote First Nation community where the temperature climbed to a balmy -31 degrees (F) on Friday. Access is by an ice road on the McKenzie River. And you want to complain about the price of eggs? A half-gallon of milk is $11, the cost of having a home in a place where everything has to be flown in.
For the past three years, we have been working with a great team of local folks to improve every facet of the community's children’s and youth lives. We are changing their lives one heartbeat at a time, delivering social, cultural, recreation, and education programs to address their unmet needs and help them thrive.
We are incredibly proud of the children and youth who have taken on the responsibility of trying new things, being involved, and having a positive outlook on life.

The kids have come a long way and it is fantastic.
CONCLUSION
One thing we have learned as Canadians, is what we can accomplish when we work together. It is like the result of the communal effort to buy Canadian. The example from the kids; what we have learned from them is what they can accomplish when they work together.
